Checkout is handled by Gumroad. A licence code arrives by email; paste it into the app once and that machine stays unlocked.

Draw first, pay later: the unlock also sits beside your own export inside the app, so you never have to pay before you have seen what you would be paying for.

What the $19 removes
The bottom corner of a free export: the scale bar, and below it one line of small grey text reading Made with ShotPlots, shotplots.com, free version.
Free. The bottom of a free export: one line of small grey text under the scale bar.
The same corner of the same page exported with the licence: the scale bar, and no line of text below it.
With the licence. The same page from the same plan. That line is the only difference on the page.

Both are real exports from the app, cropped and nothing else. See a whole free page.

The bit people ask about
Sharing a plan

Both columns run in a browser tab with nothing to install, no account and no login, on every machine you draw on. Neither stores your work in a cloud.

Buy it once, share the file; anyone can open and tweak it for free. Opening, drawing, editing and saving are never gated, on any machine. A gaffer can open your plan, move a light and send it back without paying anything. What costs is a clean copy of their own: an unlicensed machine still exports a single scene, but it carries the watermark, and a project of two scenes or more needs its own licence to come out as one PDF.

How the licence works

You pay through the checkout, a code arrives by email, and you paste it into the app once. The app sends it once to Gumroad to check it, then remembers the result in your browser, so it keeps working with no signal. Your plans are never sent anywhere. There is no account to lose.

Refunds

Ask within 30 days and you get your money back, no argument. You can export a watermarked PDF before paying, so you already know exactly what you are buying.

Gumroad processes the refund back to the payment method you used: card refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, PayPal is immediate.

Why not a subscription?

Because prep is bursty. You draw plans hard for a fortnight, then nothing for three months. Charging monthly for that would be charging you for the months you did not open it.

Still deciding?

Look at the output first

The person who has to read your plan is not you. See a finished plan, with its legend, schedule and dimensions, before you spend anything.

Or just use it free

The free tier is not a demo, it draws everything the paid one draws, with no limits and no clock. If you work a scene at a time and a line of grey text in the bottom margin does not bother you, never pay.
